Engaged? Time to throw a party!

engagedWith the holidays upon us, ‘tis the season of engagements, and with that – engagement parties. Traditionally, the bride’s parents would be the ones to throw the first party, followed by the groom’s parents. However in this modern era, anyone can be the host or hostess. (A word to the wise, give the couple’s parents the opportunity to throw the first party, after that feel free to plan any additional.) Even in the day of social media, texts and instant messaging, the party should be held as close to the date of engagement as possible to get the celebratory spirit rolling.

In the past, these soirees were held at the bride’s family home, but nowadays the options are endless. From small formal affairs to large backyard barbecues, bonfires on the beach to roaring twenties themed events with custom cocktails, there’s a party to fit every couple.

If you are recently engaged, or have a friend or family member who is, give us a call and let us do the work. With many spaces and properties to choose from, odds are we have just what you’re looking for.

Happy planning!
